NACOGDOCHES – The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will be participating in the national “Take a Kid to the Game” (TAKG) on Saturday, Oct. 10, when it hosts McNeese State. The game against the nationally ranked Cowboys is slated to begin at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium.

CHICAGO, Ill. – Stephen F. Austin freshman kicker Evan Engwall has been named a College Sporting News National All-Star for his efforts in the ’Jacks’ 65-31 victory against North Dakota over the weekend. The weekly honor comes only moments after being named SLC Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time in four weeks.
 
Engwall has continued to impress fans as one of the nation's top kickers. Engwall is currently second in the nation averaging 2.5 field goals per game, and 13.5 points per contest.

NACOGDOCHES -- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks overcame a pair of early hiccups and rode their offensive, which rolled up 643 yards and eight touchdowns as the 'Jacks rolled to a 65-31 nonconference victory over the University of North Dakota (1-2) Saturday night in front of 10,152 Family Weekend fans here at Homer Bryce Stadium.

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will look for its third consecutive victory Saturday as it hosts North Dakota. After a heartbreaking season-opening loss at SMU, the 'Jacks have now rattled off consecutive wins over Texas College and at Western Illinois. Saturday's game is slated to kick off at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium. Saturday's game will also serve as Parents' Weekend on the SFA campus.

MACOMB, Ill. - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team never trailed Saturday evening defeating Western Illinois, 40-30. The victory moves SFA to 2-1 on the season, while the Leathernecks fall to 1-2. SFA recorded 523 yards of total offense including 133 yards on the ground.

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team will look to make it two in a row, as it travels to Macomb, Ill., Saturday to face Western Illinois. The 'Jacks, who are coming off a 92-0 thrashing of Texas College, will look to move over .500 on the season. The game against the Leathernecks is slated to begin at 6:05 p.m. from Hanson Field.

NACOGDOCHES -- The rains drizzled most of the night, keeping many Stephen F. Austin fans away. What those fans missed was a one-sided shellacking by the Lumberjacks as they won their first game of the season in record-setting fashion, blowing past NAIA Texas College 92-0 here at Homer Bryce Stadium.
