The Lumberjacks enter the 2010 campaign with a veteran defensive line, which is an awkward statement to make considering SFA lost both starting defensive ends including two-time All-American Tim Knicky. But what SFA returns are several players who have been around the program for a significant amount of time, which makes SFA’s defensive front very deep.

When a team loses three all-conference players, two All-Americans, a former league newcomer of the year, nearly 5,000 yards, 40 touchdowns and two future NFL players, including the school’s all-time leader, from the same team let alone the same position, that would be great cause for concern.
