CARTHAGE, Tx -- Missed opportunities and small mistakes cost the Joaquin Rams in a big way as they were eliminated from this Class 2A Bi-District best-of-three series with the White Oak Roughnecks, 6-4, here at Jim Reeves Memorial Field Friday night.

That was the case in the team's Class 2A best-of-three bi-district playoff opener against White Oak Thursday night as the first five batters in the JHS batting order produced a combined 1-for-11 (.909) in a 13-2 setback to the Roughnecks at Jim Reeves Memorial Field in Carthage.
