The Garrison Bulldogs will be looking to push its way past the furthest point it reached in 2010 and get back to the state championship football game for the first time since the 'Dogs won the state title in 2003 when GHS takes on unbeaten Mason Friday night in Waco.
The Class 1A D-I semifinal contest will be played at Baylor's Floyd Casey Stadium and will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the game will be available only at the gate for $8. Garrison will be the home team.
The semifinal game between the Bulldogs (12-1) and the Punchers (13-0) will be aired on the radio on KTBQ Radio (107.7 FM) and be also available on the Internet (http://q1077.com/listen-live).
Garrison Superintendent Darren Webb said fans need to keep in mind that no ice chests or thermoses may be brought into the stadium, no air horns are allowed and no propane heaters are allowed as well.

Garrison's only loss this season came at the hands of Tenaha (21-10), which is playing in one of the Class 1A D-II semifinal games this season. Since that time the Bulldogs have rolled off nine straight wins, including postseason wins over Moody (51-0), Big Sandy (37-6) and Lovelady (31-0).
Mason is unbeaten this season, knocking off LaVilla (64-20), Ganado (7-0), and Shiner (55-7) in the playoffs.
The winner of the Garrison-Mason contest will meet the survivor of the other semifinal game between Stamford (12-2) and defending champion Mart (11-2), which will be played Friday at Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood at 7:30 p.m.
The state championship game will be played next Thursday, Dec. 15, at Dallas Cowboys Stadium at 12-noon.
