Center 7th 'A' captures 18-3A title

The Center Middle School 7th Grade 'A' boys (pictured at right) completed an 11-1 season and a spotless 9-0 District 18-3A record Monday night with a 38-13 victory over arch-rival Carthage. The only team to defeat Center was Class 5A Lufkin in a non-district matchup. Members of the team include (front row, from left) Darrel Barnes, Johnny Shaw, Taylor Tomlin, Traven Bolton and C.J.
