Thank you ShelbyCountySports.com fans!!!
In the 8 months that ShelbyCountySports.com has been in existence, I've tried to bring as much of a wide variety of sports to you, my readers, as I possibly can. From youth baseball and softball, to football, volleyball, basketball, powerlifting, soccer and everything in between, I know that different sports (and teams) interest different people.
I'm excited about what's ahead here at ShelbyCountySports.com. I enjoy doing what I do and I appreciate the help I receive from parents, fans and especially coaches, for providing me with information so I can cover as many different events that occur at the same time, without me having to try to be in more than one place at a time. I know every sport and every level of sports is important, so I try to publish the widest variety of information as possible.
Just this week we topped the 15,000 mark in photographs on the Fototime site, which publishes my photographs. I know that a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so I try to do what I can to bring as many to you that I take as possible. Each photo is cropped and made to look its best before I publish it here. I don't just 'throw them on the site' because I know how important the subject matter is, and I want you to see the very best.
Although ShelbyCountySports.com is a free site to view, it does take money to maintain. I have to have an income to 'earn a living'. I want you to know that the purchase of photographs goes toward that.
Another way this site will hopefully become self-sufficient is advertising. This site is currently being seen by as many as 550 different people per day, with as many as 35,000 pages being looked at each month. And, since the redesign in September, ShelbyCountySports.com already has nearly 800 pages - in JUST 4 MONTHS!!! And all of those figures are steadily growing.
Do you realize you have the only sports website in East Texas that not only tells the score, but also reports on games and produces hundreds of photographs per week? That's what I call your true SPORTS SOURCE and I'm proud to be a part of that.
I hope you are telling others about ShelbyCountySports.com. It's important that the 'word' gets out about the site and that it continues to grow in popularity.
I want to invite you to become a part of this site, either by submitting information, photos and scores. But you can financially support this site - which will in turn support the youth of Shelby County because of the growth of the site - by advertising on ShelbyCountySports.com. I am currently offering introductory rates on a wide variety of advertising that are VERY affordable.
You can place a business ad on my site, or support a single athlete or team with a "Fan Post". You can advertise your church or support your favorite politician during an upcoming race. And your ad will be seen by thousands and is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ads and posting are sold on a monthly basis.
I invite you to come and join ShelbyCountySports.com today. If you enjoy the site, tell others. If you would like to support it and like to advertise your business, please give me a call and we can sit down and talk about the affordable options. I can be reached at (936) 332-9332 or you can email me at shelbycountysports@yahoo.com.
Thank you again....your business and your readership is all part of this growing company!!
