Keontas Davis started the game with a 30-yard run. He also completed a 27-yard pass to T.J. Thomas. The Tigers' first score came on a 17-yard run by Davis to go on top, 6-0.

West Sabine then held the ball for the entire second quarter, but the Tigers still held a 6-0 lead at intermission.
