Pierce leads Beckville 7th with 11 points

The Beckville Junior High Ladycats captured a pair of wins over Timpson in Bearcat Gymnasium Monday night. The BJHS 7th grade squad recorded a 17-15 victory over the Lady Bears and the Ladycat 8th grade recorded a 17-10 win.
In the Beckville 7th grade victory, Checie Pierce led all scorers with 11 points, while Breanna Dennis added four points and Bailey Jones chipped in two.
Deundria Jackson had six points for Timpson's 7th grade, while Tykurria Bryant added five.
In the 8th grade contest, Kimber Wesner led Beckville girls with nine points and Madison McDaniel dropped in six.
Tori Cross led the 8th grade Lady Bears with four points.
