Three Garrison female runners finished among the top 10 finishers last Tuesday as the Lady Bulldog cross country team captured top honors at the District 20-1A Cross Country Meet.

Garrison scored 24 points, followed by Cushing with 51 points and LaPoynor with 81. Gary was fourth with 92 points, followed closely by Timpson in the fifth spot with 106 points. Athletes from New Summerfield, Beckville, Martin's Mill and Alto also competed, but did not figure into the team standings because the schools didn't have the minimum number of participants.
