The Joaquin junior high football teams were both victorious Thursday night on the road as they swept a pair of games at Beckville. The Ram Junior High 'B' team scored four times in scrimmage action for a 4-0 shutout, while the Joaquin Junior High 'A' squad rolled to a 26-0 victory.
Armondo Robles continues to lead the Ram ground attack for the 'A' squad. He found the endzone three times and also was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass in a dominating effort, accounting for all the JJHS scores.
According to Ronnie Belrose, who reported the results, the Joaquin offensive line continued to do a great job of clearing the way as they have in the past four weeks, leading the squad to a 5-0 record.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Rams achieved the shutout by holding the Bearcats to minimal yardage all night long.
