"We're really excited to be the first tournament on the course since the brand new greens have been installed," said Carthage coach Chris Smith. "We're very proud of our student-athletes here at Carthage High School and this is a way for people of the community to come out and support our programs and enjoy good golf, fellowship and food as well.
"Last year we had a lot of participation and everyone had a great time.
"This is our biggest athletic fundraiser of the year and we appreciate everyone that is planning on coming out and supporting the kids."
The tournament is a two-man scramble, with the cost of each team to register of $200. Players will be flighted after the first-round scores and grouped heading into the championship day on Sunday.
