Two young members of the Carthage Lady Bulldog track squad were honored recently when freshman Iesha Bryant and sophomore Tiera Simpson were recently named as the Co-High Point Track and Field athletes for the 2011 season.
Lady Dawg seniors Jasmine Robinson and Kabresha Pipkin were recognized by head coach Art Horton as both athletes were four-year regional finalists in the sport.
Another Carthage senior, Annette Spann, received recognition as establishing a new school record in the pole vault, clearing nine-feet, six-inches.
This story will appear in the Panola Watchman.
