Tenaha Lady Tiger goalie Lydia Ramirez saved more than 20 shots on goal last Monday night, but Spring Hill managed to use its speed to record a 3-1 decision over Tenaha at Tiger Stadium.

The Lady Panthers led 2-0 at intermission, but Tenaha cut the lead in half early in the final period when Lauren Jernigan took a pass from Crystal Tovar and blasted a shot past the Spring Hill goalie.

The score remained the same for the majority of the second half until SHHS scored an insurance goal late.

Tenaha had several other opportunities to score in the second half, but couldn't put the ball in the net as the Lady Tigers dropped to 4-5 on the season.

THS then had their match with Hudson last Tuesday cancelled because of inclement weather and Friday's match vs. Liberty Eylau has been rescheduled for this Thursday (Feb. 10) at 5 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. The Lady Tigers host Tatum tonight (Tuesday) at 5 p.m.
