The Shelbyville 7th grade Dragons received three touchdown passes from Dee Osby last Thursday night to blank Huntington, 22-0, in middle school football action.
The Shelbyville junior high and junior varsity squads will host Trinity Thursday afternoon at Dragon Stadium, beginning at 4:30 p.m. There is only one junior high game scheduled because of a lack of players at Trinity.
Shelbyville 22, Huntington 0 (7th) -- Mikel Carter, Ja'Gerrick Moore and Marcus Edwards were on the receiving end of the three scoring plays to lead the Dragons to a 22-0 blanking of Shelbyville.
Huntington 26, Shelbyville 24 (8th) -- Sam Choice scored touchdowns both on the ground and through the air, but it wasn't quite enough as the Huntington Red Devils edged the Shelbyville 8th grade squad, 26-24, last Thursday night in Huntington.
Shelbyville's Trevor Henkel threw a TD pass to Choice, and Choice added two more on the ground to boost the Dragons' attack.
