2nd annual event scheduled for Aug. 28 in Center

The 2nd Annual American Cancer Society’s “Cancer Sucks” Co-ed Softball Tournament will be played Aug. 28 in Center. The tournament is a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society’s 2011 Shelby County Relay for Life.
Registration is underway and ends Aug. 18. All team members must be at least 18 years old. Team fee is $250. To register your team contact Christie Stringer 598-6627, Kristin Whisenant 591-9506, or Tiffany Pope 591-8933.
The “Cancer Sucks” Co-ed Softball Tournament will be held at the baseball park across from Center High School on Roughrider Drive on Aug. 28th. Everyone is encouraged to come on out and support the players and help raise money for this great cause, the fight against cancer.
