Center's Adam Reeves, 13-year old son of Bob and Sheilah Reeves, overcame temperatures on the court that reached as high as 114 degrees and took first place in the 14-year old division of the USTA ZAT tennis tournament played in College Station this past weekend.
Reeves defeated Pollata of Houston Texas in the final, 6-2, 1-6, 10-8 in a hard-fought match, which saw the two go to a tie-breaker in the final set.
With this victory and Reeves cumulative point total this qualifies him as a Championship player and the right to compete in the Championship level events in the 14-year old division.
