Spring has definitely sprung and that means it's nearing the time for the 32nd Annual Take a Kid Fishing Tournament, which takes place at Huxley Bay Marina.
This year's event is set for Saturday, May 8. The deadline for registering is prior to Monday, May 3.
According to Center Broadcasting Company's Lori Alvis, registration forms can be picked up at the Center Broadcasting studios, located at 307 San Augustine St. in Center. They are also available at Huxley Bay Marina, Scarber's Grocery in Huxley, Shelby Savings Bank in San Augustine, Hometown Tackle or Harvey's Landing.
All entry forms will be taken from all locations at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 3. If someone is mailing an entry they must be postmarked by May 3. There will be NO entry forms accepted after the deadline.
