The Center Full Throttle softball team will begin play tonight (Friday) in the Girls 14-and-Under ASA C North Fast Pitch State Tournament in Longview.
The Center squad is scheduled to take on the Daingerfield Outlaws in the opening round of the double-elimination tourney at 7 p.m. at the Longview City Softball Park. The Full Throttle's schedule for Saturday is unclear. It will depend on how they fare tonight. The tournament will continue through Sunday.
Members of the Center Full Throttle include Whitney Haddox, Emily Koonce, Faith Lengl, Chelsea Henderson, Jasmine Crowley, Ali Baty, Brylee Hendricks, Caliegh Sparks, Meagan Nehring and Riley Mitchell.
The head coach of the Full Throttle is Matt Haddox. He is assisted by Joseph Mitchell and Shad Sparks.
