The Center Youth Baseball Association has announced signup dates and tryouts for the 2012 spring and summer season.

Parents will have three opportunities in the upcoming weeks to get their children signed up at the Center Middle School Cafeteria. The first signup will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The second date is set for Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The final date is Friday, Feb. 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Parents will have to fill out the registration form, sign it and turn it in at one of the signup dates.

The cost to sign up children ages 5-12 is $75 per child, with the charge for children 13-14 years old set at $100.

Parents are asked to bring a birth certificate for their child for verification of age.

The league is also looking for coaches for the upcoming season. Anyone interested can notify board members at the registration times.

The Center YBA has also announced that try-outs have been scheduled for Feb. 16 and 17 at the Center Youth Baseball Park on Roughrider Drive in Center.

The league's draft will be held the following week, with the start of practices coming in the first week of March. Opening day has tentatively been scheduled for March 24.
