S.E.A. Camp signups for youths underway

Once again the Center Independent School District is joining forces with the City of Center to give the youth of the area something to keep them occupied and giving them a learning experience by offering the S.E.A. Camp during the month of June.

S.E.A. Camp, which stands for "Summer Enrichment Activity", allows students which will be entering the third through sixth grades in the fall a week-long opportunity to become occupied and enriched with a variety of activities that include robotics, Spanish, art, theatre, basketball, sport stacking, tennis, ultimate games, soccer, softball, kickball, flag football, music, volleyball and frisbee golf.

The camp will run on three separate weeks, June 7-10, June 14-17 and June 21-24, taking place on Monday through Thursday of each week from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. It will take place at Center High School. Campers can sign up for one week, two weeks or all three. The cost is $60 per week or $150 for all three weeks. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are included in the price and will be served each day.

Campers will be have a variety of adventures including exploring their knowledge in academic subjects, being introduced to new and unique activities and being challenged in physical and recreational games.
